The community is located in the Croatian Zagorje on the northern slopes of the Medvednica ridge. The village of Stubicke-Toplice adjoins the city of Oroslavie from the south. In the village there is a railway station on a dead-end branch Zabok - Oroslavje - Donja-Stubica - Gornja-Stubica .
At the beginning of the 19th century, Stubička-Toplice was owned by the Bishop of Zagreb, Maximilian Vrhovac , who in 1811 opened a bathhouse in the village on the sources of thermal water (Horv. Toplice) [3] , which was later transformed into a medical rehabilitation center [4] .
