The village is located in the southwestern part of the region, near the border with the Kaluga region , on the left bank of the Rut River (a tributary of the Protva ) [6] , about 14 km south of the city of Vereya , the height of the center above sea level is 160 m [7] . The nearest settlements are the Annunciation , 1.5 km to the northwest, Maltsevo , 0.8 km to the west, and Petrovskoye , 0.8 km to the southeast, both on the opposite bank of the river.
