Eduard Osherovich Kazachkov (b. October 5, 1933, Gomel ) - conductor , composer , Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR (1985). Failed Art Worker of the BSSR (1968).
Biography
1947-1950 he studied at the Sverdlovsk school of military musicians in the tuba class N. Lychevsky. In 1957 he graduated from the Institute of Military Conductors in the conducting class of V.I. Petrov, X. M. Khakhanyan, M.N. Ryumshin, in the instrumentation class of S.P. Gorchakov, in the tube class of I.A. Lebedev, the Belarusian State Conservatory in the class compositions of A. V. Bogatyrev. 1967-1968 conductor of the orchestras of the Belarusian military district ,
While serving in the city of Grodno, combined service with teaching at a music school. He led the city symphony orchestra
1968-1973 —conductor of a military band in the central group of forces (Czechoslovakia).
1974 −1986 Head of the Military Orchestra Service of the Far Eastern District . Since 1978, Chairman of the Board of the Far Eastern Organization of Composers of the RSFSR and a member of the Union of Composers of the USSR , honorary member of the Russian Choral Society.
1986-1994 teacher of the Belarusian State Conservatory , member of the Union of Composers of Belarus.
Since 1994, lives in Ashdod , Israel , artistic director of the Ose Shalom choir.
