Wakona ( Wakoná ) - a dead unclassified Native American language that was previously spoken in the state of Alagoas in eastern Brazil. In 1995, according to SIL International estimates, there were about 500 ethnic vaccons, not one of which claimed language proficiency as a mother tongue. Vacons may not live together as a group.
