Wendy Wagner ( born Wende Wagner ; December 6, 1941 , New London , Connecticut , USA - February 26, 1997 , Santa Monica , California , USA ) is an American actress . She was a close friend of the actress Sharon Tate (1943-1969), whose husband Roman Polanski shot her in his film Rosemary's Baby (1968) as Rosemary 's girlfriend.
