In the years 1965-1991, Marianne played in 23 films and television series, she is best known for roles in such films as: “ Rosemary's Baby ” (1968, the role of Rosemary’s girlfriend), “ Little Pretty Women” (1980, the role of Mrs. Whitney), “The Creature ” "(1983, the role of Lori) and" The Giant of the Thunder Mountain "(1991, the role of Alicia Wilson). In 2007, Gordon won the TV Land Award .

January 31, 1971 Marianne married producer Michael Trikilisa whom she divorced in the 1970s.
In 1977-1993, Marianne was married to singer Kenny Rogers (born 1938). In this marriage, Gordon gave birth to her first child - the son of Christopher Cody Rogers (born 1982).
