Egor Erichovich Kochiev (born April 2, 1969 ) is a Transnistrian and South Ossetian public and statesman [3] , the head of the Official Representation of the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of South Ossetia (since September 17, 2013). He has the diplomatic rank of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Envoy of the II class .

Biography
Egor Kochiev was born on April 2, 1969 in the village of Demidov of the Kiev-Svyatoshinsky district of the Kiev region [4] .
In June 1987, he was drafted into the ranks of the military personnel of the Soviet Army, and in May 1989 he was demobilized. Later he served in the riot police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia from February 1992 to 1995, and from 1995 to August 2013 he served as head of the communications department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of South Ossetia [5] .
For a long time he was deputy chairman of the Union of Russian Citizens of South Ossetia [6] . Since 2004, he has been teaching at the Tskhinvali secondary school “Albion”, where he teaches “Fundamentals of Life Safety”. In 2006, he was engaged in the certification of the population of South Ossetia on a special assignment from the leadership of the republic [5] .
In 2011, by decree of the President of South Ossetia , the rank of police colonel was awarded [7] .
On September 17, 2013, by decree of the President of the PMR, he was appointed to the post of head of the Official Representation of the Transnistrian Moldavian Republic in the Republic of South Ossetia and on the same day received the citizenship of Transnistria [8] . On October 14 of the same year, Yegor Kochiev was introduced to the President of Transnistria, Yevgeny Shevchuk [9] and to the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PMR [10] .
