Yermolino - a village in the Taldom district of the Moscow region of Russia. The administrative center of the municipality is the rural settlement Yermolinskoye [2] . Population - 937 [1] people. (2010).

Near the village is Apsarevsky tract, which is part of the nature reserve " Crane's homeland " [3] . Near the village passes a highway connecting Taldom and Nerl .
The history of Yermolino is closely connected with the great Russian writer M. E. Saltykov-Shchedrin [4] . In 1836, his mother, O. M. Saltykova, acquired Ermolino from Cornet Peter Alexandrovich Nashchokin and Colonel Pavel Alexandrovich Nashchokin . The village consisted of 33 yards. Here the landowner made herself a manor: built a house and outbuildings, set up a garden and a park, dug a pond. Yermolino became subsequently the permanent residence of Saltykova. Saltykov-Shchedrin came here repeatedly in different years. Traces of Ermola impressions are found in a number of writer's works; so, in the novel “Poshekhonskaya olden”, the traits of Yermolin are guessed in the description of the village of Bubnovo [5] . Now only those remnants of the manor’s park and a pond, which is called “Barsky” among the locals, remind of those times.
The village has a liaison office, a cultural center, a library, a first-aid post, a school, a kindergarten, a football club. In Yermolinskaya school there is a museum. Saltykov-Shchedrin [6] .
In 1994–2006, Yermolino was the center of the Yermolinsky rural district .
