Faraj (prayer)

Dua (prayer) Faraj is the famous Shiite prayer (dua) for the coming of the Hidden Imam. This prayer is given in the fundamental Shiite book Bihar al-Anwar , with the following preface: โ€œThis dua was taught by Abu Al-Hassan Muhammad bin Ahmad bin Abi Leys Imam Mahdi (a), and he was saved from those who wanted to kill him when hiding in Baghdad at the Quraish cemetery with the help of this dua. โ€(Bihar Al-Anwar, Volume 35, p. 275)

The Arabic word "faraj" in the lexical meaning means deliverance and liberation from grief and sorrow. [1] In collections of hadiths and other Muslim literature, which mentions prayers and deeds designed to save a person from grief and sorrow, the word "faraj" is used in this meaning. Further, we restrict ourselves to providing three examples of prayers (duas) and prayers, which are known as the Faraj prayer and Faraj prayer:

1. A prayer is transmitted from the Messenger of Allah, which is called the prayer (dua) faraj. It begins with the words: โ€œAllahumma Inni Asaluka Allah Ya Allah Ya Allah Ya Man Ala Fakahara ...โ€ Translation: โ€œOh Allah, I ask you, O Allah, O Allah, O Allah, O one who exalted and conquered ...โ€ [2 ]

2. The next prayer is known as the prayer (dua) of Faraj of Imam Mahdi and in this prayer there are the words โ€œFarajan Ajilian,โ€ that is, quick deliverance. This prayer begins with the words โ€œAllahumma azuma al-bala wa baraha al-hafa ...โ€ Translation: โ€œO Allah, misfortune increased and mystery disappeared ...โ€ [3]

3. From Imam Ali, a description of the prayer, called the prayer of Faraj, is transmitted. [four]

As for the prayer, which begins with the words โ€œAllahumma kul-livalyaka ...โ€ and with which the Shiites turn to Allah for Imam Mahdi, is not really a Faraj prayer. This follows from the meaning of the word "faraj", which was mentioned earlier. This prayer is one of the deeds that it is desirable to perform on the 23rd night of the month of Ramadan.

Also this prayer can be read at any time when Imam Mahdi is mentioned. [five]

Prayer Translation Faraj

God, our grief is great and the hidden has become evident and the curtain has been opened

And there is no more hope, and the earth has become cramped and the heavens have closed from us

And you are the one to whose help we resort and that to whom they are complaining

And rely on you in both complex and simple things about Allah, bless Muhammad and the family of Muhammad,

The owners of power, the submission of which you are obligated to us

By giving us thereby an understanding of their situation.

So grant us, for their rights, a speedy deliverance. Like a blink of an eye or faster!

Oh Muhammad! Oh Ali! Oh Ali! Oh Muhammad!

But be those whom I have enough, and truly you are enough for me.

And help me, because truly you are helpers.

Oh our patron, O Time Master [6]

Relief, relief, relief!

Make me, make me, make me

At this hour, at this hour, at this hour. Hurry, hurry, hurry

O most merciful of the merciful, for the sake of Muhammad and his pure family.
