Geography
It is located on the right bank of the Irkut River , 8 km west of the central part of the village of Baklashi and 12 km from the regional center, the city of Shelekhov , at an altitude of 453 meters above sea level [2] .

In 2002, the population of the village was 961 people (461 men and 500 women) [5] . According to the 2010 census , 1275 people lived in the village (629 men and 646 women) [6] .
