He served in the Yaroslavl Infantry Regiment. On November 24, 1771 he was promoted to prime majors , and on July 10, 1774, he was granted captain of the Preobrazhensky regiment.
In August 1774, Empress Catherine II entrusted him with the execution of a responsible assignment: [1] based on the information of the Yaik cossack Astafy Trifonov, who transmitted a letter from Count Emelyan Pugachev, an Yaitsk cossack Perfilyev, to Count G. G. Orlov, who offered to give his leader the government for a monetary reward , the queen sent Galakhov to take Pugachev and bring him to Moscow. On November 4, Galakhov brought the impostor to Moscow . The reward for his work was granted to him on January 28, 1775, the Poretsky part of the Sebezhsky key of the Polotsk province (300 souls).
In 1791, Alexander Pavlovich was promoted to colonel . He was awarded orders and medals of the Russian Empire. He died in 1798.
