Birit is a village in Balagansky district of the Irkutsk region of Russia . The administrative center of the Birita municipality . It is located on the shore of the Birith Bay of the Bratsk reservoir , about 10 km north-west of the district center, the village of Balagansk , at an altitude of 464 meters above sea level [1] .
