Lanceolum Thistle , or Lanceolate Thunderbird ( Latin Botrȳchium lanceolātum ) - a species of ferns of the genus Grozdovnik ( Botrychium ) of the Ozhioglossaceae family.

Habitat and habitat
Holarctic relict view . It grows in Northern Europe , in the Alps , Eastern Europe (Latvia, Estonia), the Carpathians , in the mountains of Mongolia , in East Asia and North America . In Russia - in the north of the European part and the Far East [1] .
As a rule, lives on forest, usually sandy glades, on meadow slopes, in sparse forests and shrubs.
Botanical Description
Perennial plant with a height of 5 to 20 cm.
The only vaya above the middle is divided into the vegetative (sterile) and spore-bearing parts. The vegetative part is sessile, more or less triangular, pinnately separate, usually no longer than its width. First-order lobes (feathers) are lanceolate, from cirrus-separated to blunt-toothed. The spore-bearing part of the vaya is always present, on a short stalk, usually twice pinnately dissected, often panicle-shaped.
Propagated by spores. Spore in July - August.

Economic Significance and Application
The leaves of the lanceolum are used as a sedative for children [3] .
