The source of the river in the forest near the border with the Kostroma region , 9 km south-west of the village of Vondanka (the center of the Vondansky rural settlement ). The river flows south, then southeast and east, several non-residential villages flow. It flows into Vondanka west of the village of Konovalov. 5 km from the mouth, it receives a tributary on the right - an untitled river.
