History
For Parma, this was the first match for the European Super Cup, while for Milan this match was already the fourth in history. In the 1973 Super Bowl, Milan lost to Ajax , and in 1989 and 1990 they defeated Barcelona and Sampdoria , respectively.
“Milan” in the Champions League final lost to “ Olympic ” from Marseille with a score of 0: 1. But because of the corruption scandal, Olympic was suspended from participation in all European tournaments, and Milan was allowed to take their place in the match for the European Super Cup.
