Career

How I started playing hockey: - I got to America thanks to my brother Egor and the Georgetown school in Bethesda, a suburb of Washington, where I entered when I was 17 years old. When I was 14, my exchange brother went to study at the University of Colorado. There he learned that athletes in America can receive the so-called Scholarships and study for free, not only in schools but also in universities. In Russia there is no such thing. It is unfortunate that our talented athletes do not have the opportunity to get higher education for free. My brother contacted the school and told about me. They asked me to send my scores and a video in which the coach and the president of the school could watch me play hockey. [one]

Most of his career, Nikita spent in the University League of America and also tried his hand at the East Coast League (ECHL) and the American Hockey League (AHL) . Trained at the Washington Capitals training camp. [2]

In the 2012/2013 season, Nikita decided to change the championship and went home, where he entered into a viewing contract with Moscow Spartak . [3] As part of the “red-white" player went through pre-season training, took part in friendly matches, and also noted an abandoned goal in the match against Dynamo Moscow, in the Cup of the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region. [4] On August 24, 2013 , the hockey player signed a full-fledged contract with Spartak. [5] He made his debut in the KHL on September 8 , in a guest match against the Prague Lion . This match was the only one for the hockey player in the KHL. On October 3, the management of Spartak decided to terminate the contract with the hockey player. [6] After this, Nikita Kashirsky was without a club for a short time, and later the hockey player returned to the United States, where he signed a contract with the ECHL club - “Reading Royals”.

Since the 2013/2014 season, the hockey player has been in the system of the club of the British Elite Hockey League (EIHL) - Dundee Stars , which combines the position of assistant to the head coach of Dundee, Jeff Hutchins and the player. It is noteworthy that Hutchins is also a gaming coach. [7]
