Biography
Born on February 1, 1900. In the family of workers. Russian.
In 1918 he joined the Red Army.
In 1918 he joined the RCP (b) .
In January 1931 he was appointed Assistant Commissar of the 18th Infantry Regiment.
In September 1931, he was appointed military commissar of the 165th rifle regiment.
In March 1933 he was appointed head of the political department of the MTS and state farms.
In July 1936, he was appointed military commissar of the cavalry-artillery regiment of the Special Cavalry Division named after IV Stalin.
In August 1937 he was appointed Commissar of the 1st Air Defense Division.
In November 1937 he was appointed head of political department and and. Member of the Military Council of the Moscow IN .
In February 1939, he was appointed head of the political directorate of the North Caucasus VO .
On February 24, 1941, divisional commissar Kolonin was appointed a member of the Military Council of the Volga Military District.
On June 22, 1941, he was appointed a member of the Military Council of the 21st Army .
On December 28, 1941 a member of the Military Council of the 11th Army .
Since August 24, 1942 Member of the Military Council, the 9th Army .
From November 1942, he was a member of the Military Council of the Black Sea Group of Forces , from that moment until the end of the war he was the immediate superior of the brigade commissar Leonid Brezhnev.
From April 1, 1943 to July 9, 1945 a member of the Military Council of the 18th Army .
After the war, he continued to serve in the Soviet Army.
He died in July 1972. He was buried in Moscow at the Novodevichy Cemetery (7th section, 17th row, 12th place) [1] .
