Archosauromorphs [1] ( lat. Archosauromorpha ) - an infraclass of reptiles from a subclass of diapsids . First appeared in the Late Permian and spread in the Triassic . This infraclass includes directly archosaurs (including Crocodylia , dinosaurs , birds ) and some extinct orders [2] . In 1991, a work was published in which archosaurus were considered as a treasure , including the earliest common ancestor of the groups Prolacerta , archosaurs, Trilophosaurus , Hyperodapedon and all their descendants [3] . In 1998, David Dilkes published a paper where he formulated a more general definition for a clade, including Protorosaurus and its close diapsides [4] .

Now the following taxa are included in the infraclass: rhinosaurus , Trilophosauridae , protorosaurs and Archosauriformes . Despite the fact that the representatives of these groups are very different in appearance, they carry a number of common features of the skeleton, which indicates their common origin. Some authors also include groups such as Choristodera , Drepanosauromorpha [4] , Thalattosauria , Ichthyopterygia , sauroperteria [5] [6] [7] and turtles [8] .
