Fernandez, Mathias

Mathias was born in Cabalito, a district of Buenos Aires. His mother, Mirtha, is Argentine, and his father, Umberto, is Chilean. ^[3] Matthias also has 2 brothers, Esequiel and Nasareno. When Mathias was 4 years old, the family moved to La Calera in Chile . Fernandez in his interviews emphasizes that he feels himself a Chilean and practically does not remember anything of what has been with him until 4 years.

At 12, he falls into the youth team of the famous Chilean club "Kolo-Kolo" - the most titled club of the country. His debut in the first division took place on August 1, 2004, in the framework of the historic Classic Chilean football against Universidad de Chile . He likes to take his team to the field. ^[6] His friends are David Pizarro ( Roma and the national team of Chile), Argentines Sergio Aguero ( Manchester City ) and Lionel Messi ( Barcelona ). Chilean media call it "Chilean Maradona " .
