Biography

Biathlete career

He began to engage in biathlon since childhood. He made his debut for the Estonian national team in 1997. For her, Ader spoke intermittently for 8 years. He failed to show special achievements at the stages of the World Cup . The highest result was shown at the stage in the Slovenian Pokljuka in the 2004/2005 season, where Ader took 36th place in the sprint.

He managed to achieve the greatest success in 1999. At the World Summer Biathlon Championships in Minsk, the Estonian won the “silver” in the relay. In addition, the athlete participated in 4 Biathlon World Championships.

In 2006, due to poor results, Ader decided to end his career.

Football career

Having completed his biathlon, Ader did not leave the sport. The athlete managed to move to football. Since 2009, he has played for a number of Estonian minor league clubs.

Other

In addition to sports, Margus Ader is involved in journalism. He is a biathlon expert of the Estonian television channel ERR [1] .

Interesting Facts

In March 2011 in Khanty-Mansiysk Margus Ader became the world champion among journalists. After the winning race, he jokingly noticed that his “gold” is Estonia’s highest biathlon award [2] .
