Peter Heszler (November 1, 1958, Miskolc , Hungary - August 15, 2009, Szeged , Hungary ) - Hungarian physicist. He was widely known for his research in the field of laser synthesis of nanoparticles. He was also engaged in research in the field of nanotechnology , condensed matter physics , materials science , vibration and noise, lasers and in many other advanced fields of physics.

Biography
One of his early writings, which became famous, was devoted to the phenomenon of the so-called quantum 1 / f noise. In particular, Hesler in this work denied the existence of this phenomenon and stated that his theoretical model is incorrect. The model of quantum 1 / f noise, photons, and the initial state of the system were omitted in the equations, and such errors were the reason for incorrect mathematical predictions regarding the existence of oscillations that simply cannot exist, since this contradicts the rules of quantum electrodynamics.
Perhaps his most important discovery is the possibility of using thermal radiation from nanoparticles during laser synthesis. Spectral analysis of this kind of radiation can become a powerful tool for studying chemical reactions and their dynamics during the formation of nanoparticles under the influence of a laser.
Scientific career
Hesler received his Ph.D. from Szeged University in Hungary in 1988. He became an assistant professor in 1944 at Uppsala University in Sweden . In the course of his research, Hesler achieved the greatest results in these universities. In addition to physics and technology, Peter Hesler was also interested in history and culture. He was also interested in the relationship between religion and science.
