Biography
Gabitov Rif Fatikhovich was born on December 5, 1952 in the village of Aznalkino, Beloretsky district of the BASSR. Father was a club worker, played kurai, violin, sang, danced.
From 1967 to 1970, Reef Gabitov studied at the Republican boarding school named after Rami Garipov . After graduating from high school, he entered the philological faculty of Bashkir State University . Here he danced in a student folk dance ensemble.
He received the specialty of philologist , worked as a teacher of the Bashkir language and literature, Russian language and literature at school.
Interest in dance led him to the folk dance ensemble of F. Gaskarov , where from 1974 to 1992 he worked as an artist of the Bashkir Philharmonic.
From 1992 to 1996, Gabitov was a ballet dancer and kuraist of the folk dance ensemble F. Gaskarov of the Bosphate Philharmonic.
In 1995, Rif Fatykhovich Gabitov was awarded the State Prize of the Republic of Bashkortostan named after Salavat Yulaev for staging the dances “Copper Heel”, “Song of the Herder”, “Bashkir Krakowyak” and high performing skills.
After graduating from an artist's career in 1996, Gabitov worked as an inspector of the human resources department at Sotsinvestbank, a commercial social development bank. In 1998-1999 he was a leading specialist at Sotsinvestbank OJSC, and since 1999 he was a leading specialist at Sotsinvestbank OJSC.
In 2000, Reef Gabitov returned to the folk dance ensemble named after F. Gaskarov as artistic director. Since 2004, he heads the Sterlitamak Dance Theater, created in 1991 by Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Khalil Ishberdin .
