Career

As a player, Ara spent most of his career at Pro Vercelli , Italy's strongest club in the early 20th century, and also spent several matches for Modena . As a player, Pro Vercelli won the Italian championships six times. In the Italian national team, Ara made his debut on January 6, 1911, in a match with the Hungarian national team , he had 13 matches in the national team, in which he scored 1 goal (against the Belgian national team ). He was in the application of the Italian team at the 1920 Olympics , but did not go on the field in tournament matches. He began his coaching career in his own Pro Vercelli, and immediately became the champion of Italy with him.
