General information
It is located near the Pudozh - Medvezhyegorsk highway, three kilometers south of the village of Pudozhgorsky .
4 km south of the village is the Pudozhgorsk deposit of titanomagnetite ores.
History
The administrative center of the Roman parish of the Povenets district of the Olonets province (1905).

- dilapidated wooden church of St. Varlaam of Hutyn (XIX century) [3]
- Memorial place where in 1919 the Petrozavodsk special forces detachment under the command of N. N. Dorofeev stopped the advance of the White Guard units
- Mass grave of Soviet soldiers who died during the Soviet-Finnish War (1941-1944) .
