Novye (according to the topographic map Novaya ) is the village of Nikolo-Edomsky rural district of the Artemyevsky rural settlement of Tutaevsky district of the Yaroslavl region [1] .
The village is located in the west of the rural settlement, northwest of Tutaev near the border of Tutaevsky and Rybinsk districts. Novenkoye stands at a distance of about 1.5 km northeast of the federal highway P151 Yaroslavl - Rybinsk , between this highway and the right high bank of the Volga , which is about 700 m from the village. Between the village of Novenkoye and the federal highway stands the village of Vaulovo . In the east, Novyky is adjoined by the recreation center (formerly the sanatorium) “Krasny Oktyabr” and the village at the recreation center , which stretch to the very banks of the Volga [2] .
Novaya village is indicated on the plan of the General Land Survey of Borisoglebsky Uyezd in 1792. According to 1859, the village of Novinkoye belonged to the Romanov-Borisoglebsky district [3] .
As of January 1, 2007, there were 8 permanent residents in the village of Novyankoye [4] . According to the map of 1975, 6 people lived in the village. A post office located in the village of Stolbishchi serves 9 houses in the village of Novenkoye [5] .
