Boyan Dublevich ( Montenegrin. Boјan Dubљeviћ ; born October 24, 1991 in Niksic , e SFRY ) is a Montenegrin professional basketball player , player of the Valencia club and the Montenegrin national team . Acts as a heavy forward and center . In the 2013 NBA draft, he was selected in the second round under the overall 59th number by the Minnesota Timberwolves team.

Career

Club

Dublyevich made his debut in the professional arena as part of the Montenegrin club Lovcen in the 2009 season. From 2010 to 2012, he played for another team from Montenegro - Buduchnost from Podgorica. In 2012, he signed a three-year contract with the club of the Spanish championship Valencia [1] . In the first season, the player was recognized as the “Rising Star of the Eurocup” for “Valencia” [2] .

In June 2013, he extended the contract with the club until the end of the 2015–16 season. The contract contained an article on the redemption of a player’s contract by the NBA club, the amount of compensation was 1 million euros . This amount gradually decreased, by the summer of 2015, it will amount to only 200 thousand euros [3] . The player put forward his candidacy for the 2013 NBA Draft and was chosen by the Minnesota Timberwolves club under a common 59th number [4] .

Dublyevich began to play for the youth team of Montenegro, in which, following the results of the European Championships 2011, for youths not older than 20, he was included in the symbolic team of the tournament [5] .
