History

It is first mentioned in the Scribe Book of the Vodskaya Pyatina of 1500 as the village of Vonyalitsi by the sea in the Kargalsky graveyard of Koporsky district [2] .

Then, as the village of Volänitza by in the Kargalsky churchyard (western half) in the Swedish "Scribe books of Izhora land" in 1618-1623 [3] .

The map of Ingermanland by A. I. Bergenheim , compiled from Swedish materials in 1676, shows the village of Wållonitsby [4] .

On the Swedish "General Map of the Province of Ingermanlandia" of 1704, - Wälonotz [5] .

As the village of Vyalonitsy, it is indicated on the “Geographical drawing of Izhora land” by Adrian Schonbeck in 1705 [6] .

The village of Valonitsy is mentioned on the map of Ingermanland A. Rostovtsev 1727 [7] .

On the map of the St. Petersburg province of F.F. Schubert in 1834, the village of Valyanitsy is indicated [8] .

VALYANITSY - the village belongs to majora Yermakova, the number of inhabitants according to the audit: 31 m. P., 55 w. p. (1838) [9]

In the explanatory text to the ethnographic map of the St. Petersburg province of P. I. Köppen in 1849, it is recorded as the village of Wolotza ( Volynitsy, Volonitsy ) and the number of its inhabitants for 1848 is indicated: Ingermanlanders - euryamejset - 8 m., 9 w. p., total 17 people, Izhora - 32 m. p., 40 g. n., a total of 72 people [10] .

On the map of Professor S. S. Kutorgi in 1852, it is referred to as the village of Valyanits [11] .

VOLYANITSY - the village of Major Ermakova’s wife, 10 miles by post, and the rest by lanes, the number of yards - 9, the number of souls - 35 m. (1856) [12]


VALYANITSY - a village, the number of inhabitants according to the Xth revision of 1857: 57 m. p., a total of 116 people. [13]

According to the “Topographic Map of Parts of the St. Petersburg and Vyborg Provinces” in 1860, the village of Valyanitsy consisted of 9 peasant households [14] .

VOLYANITSY (VOLOTS) - a village owned by the Gulf of Finland and wells, the number of yards - 14, the number of inhabitants: 39 m., 42 railways. P.; Two chapels. (1862) [15]


VALYANITSY - a village, according to the Zemstvo census of 1882: families - 20, 42 m., 57 women in them. p., a total of 99 people. [13]


VALYANITSY - a village, the number of farms in the Zemstvo census of 1899 is 21, the number of inhabitants: 65 m., 61 w. n., a total of 126 people .;
category of peasants: former owners; nationality: Russian - 21 people, Finnish - 102 people, mixed - 3 people. [13]

In the 19th and early 20th centuries, the village administratively belonged to the Luzhitsy volost of the 2nd camp of the Yamburg district of the St. Petersburg province.

According to the "Memorial Book of the St. Petersburg Province" for 1905, the village was called Volyanitsy or Volots [16] .

In 1917, the village of Valyanitsy was part of the Luzhitsy volost of the Yamburg district.

From 1917 to 1924, the village of Valyanitsy was part of the Valenitsky village council of the Soikinsky volost of Kingisepp county .

Since 1924, as part of the Andreevschinsky village council.

Since 1927, as part of the Kotelsky district .

Since 1928, as part of the Soikinsky Village Council. In 1928, the population of the village of Valyanitsy was 128 people.

According to the topographic map of 1930, the village was called Valyanitsa and consisted of 29 courtyards, in the center of the village was a chapel.

Since 1931, as part of the Kingisepp District [17] .

According to 1933, the village of Valyanitsy was part of the Gorkovsky Village Council of Kingisepp District [18] .

From August 1, 1941 to February 28, 1944, the village was under occupation.

In 1958, the population of the village of Valyanitsa of the Soikinsky Village Council was 6 people [17] .

According to the data of 1966, 1973 and 1990, the village of Valyanitsy was also part of the Soikinsky Village Council of Kingisepp District [19] [20] [21] .

In 1997, 71 people lived in the village of Valyanitsy , the village was part of the Soikinsky volost with a center in the village of Vistino, in 2002 - 65 people (Russians - 91%), in 2007 - 51 people [22] [23] [24] [25] .

Geography

The village is located in the northern part of the district on the highway 41А-007 ( St. Petersburg - Streams ).

The distance to the administrative center of the settlement is 1.5 km [24] .

The distance to the nearest Koskolovo railway platform is 16.5 km [19] .

The village is located on the Soikinsky Peninsula off the coast of the Gulf of Finland .
