Content
Geography
The village is located 4 km southeast of the Vyazniki station of the Kovrov - Nizhny Novgorod railway line. The river Shumar flows north of the village.
History
At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, the village was part of the Zhdanov volost of the Vyaznikovsky district , and since 1926 it was part of the Oltushev volost . In 1859 [2] there were 10 yards in the village, in 1905 [3] - 9 yards, in 1926 [4] - 16 yards.
Since 1929, the village was part of the Peskovsky village council of the Vyaznikovsky district , since 1954 - as part of the Fedurnikovsky village council , since 1965 - as part of the Ilevnikovsky village council , since 2005 - as part of the Paustovsky rural settlement .

Famous People
On March 9, 1922, Yevgeny Frolovich Mishchenko was born in the village, later a well-known mathematician, academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences and the Russian Academy of Sciences.
