The Unbelievers is a documentary directed by American physicist Lawrence Krauss and British evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins . In the film, scientists travel the world and openly declare the importance of science and reason in the modern world. They call for getting rid of outdated religious and politically motivated views when considering important issues of our time.

The world premiere of Unbelievers was held on April 29, 2013 at the Hot Docs Film Festival in Toronto, Canada. Tickets for all 4 film screenings were sold out [1] [2] [3] . After lengthy negotiations, the rights to the film were acquired by Content Film and on May 14, 2014 a pre-order of the film was announced on Amazon and iTunes [1] . A release date was set for June 3, 2014.
In Russia
There is no information on the release of the film in Russia, the film was shown at the 360 ° scientific cinema festival [4] . There was information that the nonprofit volunteer studio Vert Dider received a copy of the film and wanted to make a “pirate” release, which she reported on her blog [5] and posted the trailer in Russian [6] . At the moment, Vert Dider has released its version in Russian.
