Small Titovskoye is a village of the Nikolo-Edomsky rural district of the Artemyevsky rural settlement of the Tutaevsky district of the Yaroslavl region [1] .

The village is located in the west of the rural settlement, northwest of Tutaev near the border of Tutaevsky and Rybinsk districts. It is located on the left western bank of the Edom River, near its mouth. Above Edom, to the south stands the village of Bolshoy Titovskoye, in the immediate vicinity of Maly. These two villages occupy the space between the federal highway P151 Yaroslavl - Rybinsk and the right bank of the Volga River . The villages stand on a hill and are surrounded by steep steep slopes from the side of Edom and the Volga. Small Titovskoe is also divided by a deep ravine overlooking the Volga. To the southwest of Bolshoi Titovsky on the other side of the highway is the village of Rozhdestvensky . On the opposite bank of Edoma to the south stands the village of Artemyevo , which names the rural settlement, but now the center of the rural settlement is not in Artemyevo, but in Emishchevo , closer to Tutaev. However, Artemyevo remains the local center, in which, in particular, a small church has been restored, picturesquely standing on a hill above the Edoma River. To the north-west of Titovsky at a distance of 1-1.5 km there are two villages Vaulovo , Novye, as well as the resort Red October and the village at the resort . The sanatorium is located to the north, on the banks of the Volga, and Vaulovo is closer to the federal highway. These are the last settlements of the Tutaevsky region up the Volga, then the Rybinsky district begins [2] .

The Edoma Valley is one of the area’s main landscape attractions. Here picturesque pictures of self-sown plantations were formed, which organically alternate with sections of floodplain meadows. To the list of “Specially Protected Natural Territories of the Yaroslavl Region”, approved by the resolution of the Administration of the Yaroslavl Region dated January 21, 2005. No. 8 includes the valley of the Edom River from the road bridge to the mouth, that is, just on the site of the villages of Big and Malaya Titovskoye [3] .

On the plan of the General Land Surveying of Borisoglebsk Uyezd in 1792, the village is indicated as the Titov identity of the Volga region . In 1825, Borisoglebsky district was merged with Romanovsky district . According to 1859, the village belonged to the Romanovo-Borisoglebsky district [4] .

On January 1, 2007 in the village of Maloye Titovskoye there were 5 permanent residents [5] . According to the map of 1975, 10 people lived in the village. A post office located in the village of Stolbishchi serves 12 houses in the village of Maloye Titovskoye [6] .
