Ugryumov, Mikhail Veniaminovich

Mikhail Veniaminovich Ugryumov (born April 11, 1947 , Saratov ) is a Russian neurophysiologist and neuroendocrinologist. Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2006; corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Sciences since 1997) [1] . Doctor of Biological Sciences .

Biography

He graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Medicine 2-MOLGMI .

Head of the Laboratory of Nervous and Neuroendocrine Regulation of the Institute for Development Biology, Russian Academy of Sciences since 1987 [2] .

Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences since 1997 - Department of Physiology, academician of the RAS since 2006 - Department of Biological Sciences (physiology).

Rewards

  • 1995 - Prize named after L. A. Orbeli - for the cycle of works “Hypothalamic-pituitary complex and ways of neurohormonal regulation: phylogenesis, ontogenesis, plasticity”
  • 2019 - Sechenov Gold Medal - for the series of works “Study of the role of the brain in nervous and neuroendocrine regulation in ontogenesis and in neurodegenerative diseases”
