Riza Fakhrutdinovich Ishmurat (Ishmuratov) (November 1, 1903 - October 29, 1995) - Tatar playwright, public figure, publicist, director, Honored Artist of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, Honored Art Worker of the RSFSR , participant in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 [1] .

Biography

Ishmurat Riza Fakhrutdinovich was born on November 11, 1903 into a peasant family in the village of Badryash in the Yanaul district [2] . From 1911-1915. studied at a rural school. In 1917-1918 studied at the Ufa madrassah "Usmaniya", in 1919-1922. - at the pedagogical college in the city of Ufa. In 1923-1926 studying at the Tatar State Theater College. After graduating from a theater college, he works as a director at the Tatar Academic Theater named after Galiaskar Kamal. Since 1927 he became a member of the CPSU. In 1930 he graduated from the Higher Courses in Art History at the Leningrad Institute of the History of Art. From 1931 to 1940, the head of the college of directors, stage director and head of the literary part of the Tatar Academic Theater, deputy head of the Directorate of Arts for the SNK TASSR. Member of World War II. Riza Ishmurat’s grandson, Airat Ishmuratov , a clarinet player, composer and conductor, currently resides in Canada .

Creativity

Riza Fakhrutdinovich is the author of many dramatic works. In 1926, his first plays were staged at the Tatar Academic Theater (“Yoki patshalygynda” - “In the Realm of Dream”, “Vtek Philosopher” - “Philosopher Philosopher”). The theme and content of Ishmuratov’s drama was determined by the ideological principles of the Soviet era. In the 1930s in the drama of Riza Fakhrutdinovich, the problems of establishing a new Soviet morality came to the fore, which were solved against the background and in situations of class struggle at construction sites, in villages, among the intelligentsia, and among students. During the war years, being at the front, Ishmuratov R.F. did not stop his work. His plays were successfully performed on the stages of Tatar theaters. After the war, Riza Ishmuratov continued to engage in creativity. In the Union of Writers of the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, he headed the section of playwrights, conducted work with creative youth. He performed not only as a playwright, but also as a talented publicist and translator.
