Biography
Initially, Natalia Kochergina was engaged in cross-country skiing and only in 2010 decided to go to biathlon. In the same year, she first won the silver of the national championship, losing only to Diana Rasimoviciut , and then made her debut in the IBU Cup. In February 2013, Kochergina performed at the World Ski Championships . Lithuanian athlete took 54th place in the 10-kilometer free-style race and 20th place in the team sprint. In 2018, she took part in the Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang. At the Olympics, she started in the individual 15 km race, where she took 30th place.
World Cup
In the 2011/2012 season, Kochergina made her debut in the World Cup, taking part in the mixed relay in the Lithuanian national team. In the 2012/2013 season, Natalia began to speak at the stages of the world cup on an ongoing basis. The Lithuanian biathlete scored her first points at the stage in the German Oberhof , becoming the 35th in the sprint race.
