Biography
In 1907-1909 he was the personal secretary of Leo Tolstoy and a follower of his moral teachings .
In 1925-1931 he was the director of the Tolstoy Museum in Moscow. Nikolai Gusev took part in editing the anniversary Complete Works of Tolstoy in 90 volumes (1928-1958), and also was the author of works on the life and work of Leo Tolstoy [2] .
