General information
It is located on the eastern shore of the central part of Kizhi island in the northern part of Lake Onega .
It was first mentioned in 1563 in the Scribe books of the Obonezhskaya Pyatina of Novgorod lands as part of the possessions of the Novgorod boyar Nikita Afanasyev.
An exposition of historical buildings of the Kizhi Museum-Reserve , transported from different villages of Zaonezhye, was formed on the territory of the village [3] .
