Geography
The village of Mezhnaya is located in the southeastern part of Udmurtia on the right bank of the Kama River , 70 km southeast of the city of Izhevsk , 15 km from the city of Sarapul and 5 km northwest of the village of Mazunino . Mezhna stands on two three rivers: Kama, Mezhna, Field.

History
In written sources, the village of Mezhnaia was first mentioned in 1701, in a census book compiled “by the order of the steward and governor” Nikita Alferievich Kudryavtsev. It was part of the palace Sarapul volost of the Arskaya road of the Kazan district . After the abolition of the Arsk road in 1780 - in the Sarapul district of Vyatka governorship (since 1796 - the Vyatka province ).
Since 2006 - as part of the Mazuninskoye municipality with a center in the village of Mazunino [2] .
