Sennaia Guba is a village in the Velikogubsky rural settlement of the Medvezhiegorsk district of the Republic of Karelia , a complex historical monument [2] .

General Information
Located on the northwestern shore of the island of Bolshoy Klimenetsky in the northern part of Lake Onega .
Historical Monuments
Architectural monuments are preserved:
- the skeleton of the stone-wooden church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker with a bell tower (1810) [3] , the wooden vault and tent of the bell tower was lost during a fire in 1989. In 2006, a Poklonniy cross was installed next to the church.
- Church of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God (1848) [4]
Monuments of history:
- Mass grave of Red Army soldiers killed during the Civil War
- The grave of a St. Petersburg worker, a policeman Malinin, who was shot by the White Guards in 1919
- The grave of the epic story teller I. T. Ryabinin (1844-1908) at the old cemetery
To the south of the village are the remains of buildings of the Holy Trinity Monastery abolished in the 1920s.
Population
The population in 1959 was 117 people. In 1989 it was 64 people.
