History

The foundation of the village of Klashterets belongs to the period from 1150 to 1250 and is associated with a small monastery built at that time by the Benedictines . He, like all monasteries of religious orders of early feudalism, was founded with the aim of spreading Christianity among the Gentiles . Soon a church was built here with a parish cemetery and, probably, a monastery school.

In 1277, King Przemysl Otakar II abolished the local monastery and annexed its lands to his possessions. After this, the village and okrugs received the Shumburkov family as flax , and the first third of the 14th century was acquired by a representative of the Pernshtein clan who built a clan castle here. In 1352, the Latin name of this village, Claustrellum , was first mentioned in written sources, and in 1356 the German name Klosterlin appeared for the first time.

From the sixteenth to the end of the nineteenth century, these lands belonged to the genus Thun and Hohenstein . During this period, a baroque church of the Holy Trinity was erected, a neo-Gothic castle and a magnificent English park around the castle was laid out.

The second - on the mass grave of 34 Red Army soldiers who died during the liberation of the city in 1945.
