Toponym
The modern name of the village - Mtidziri, is a Georgian translation of the name Dagheiti ( Azeri. "Dağətəyi" ), which is translated from Azerbaijani and Georgian into Russian means "At the foot of the mountain." [eight]
Geography
The village is located on the Bashkecid plateau of the Mashaver Valley, 4 km west of the regional center of Dmanisi , at an altitude of 1320 meters from sea level. [eight]
