Biography

Born in a Russian family of a middle peasant. He graduated from a village school in 1910. He began his working life as a fourteen-year-old teenager: he was a shepherd , and he labored with his fists . At the end of 1913 he arrived in St. Petersburg and enrolled as an apprentice in the locksmith workshop of the Erickson plant . He entered as a locksmith at the Lorenz telephone and telegraph plant . He participated in the armed struggle on the streets of the capital of the Russian Empire during the February Revolution , in April he met V. I.
