Second Division Youth Ice Hockey World Championship 2010

The 2010 IIHF World Ice Hockey Championship among the youth teams in the II Division is the IIHF IIHF ice hockey competition held from December 12-19, 2009 in Debrecen ( Hungary ) and Narva ( Estonia ). The winners of the groups received the right to play in group B of the first division of the 2011 World Cup . The teams that took the last places in the groups moved to the third division of the 2011 World Cup .

Participating Teams

12 national teams took part in the championship - nine from Europe , two from Asia and one from North America . The national teams of Hungary and Estonia came from the first division , the rest - from the last tournament of the second division .
