General information
It is located on the bay of the northwestern coast of Lake Onega .
History
On December 25, 1935, by a resolution of the Karelian CEC , the church was closed in the village [3] .
A historical monument is preserved in the village - the mass grave of Soviet soldiers, partisans and underground members who died during the Great Patriotic War.

Interesting Facts
An architectural monument of the beginning of the 20th century - Abramova’s barn from the village of Velikaya Niva was moved to the Kizhi Museum-Reserve [6] .
