The jubilee medal “20 years of tenge” ( Kazakh. Tenege 20 zhil ) is a state award of the Republic of Kazakhstan , established on the basis of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated September 2, 2013 to mark the 20th anniversary of the introduction of the national currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan - tenge .

Medal Regulation
- The jubilee medal is awarded to citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign citizens who have made a significant contribution to the functioning of the national currency of the Republic of Kazakhstan - tenge .
- The procedure for the manufacture of a jubilee medal and presentation for awarding a jubilee medal is determined by the Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan .
- Presentation of the anniversary medal is made on behalf of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan:
- Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- Deputy Chairpersons of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- the first heads of branches, representative offices, departments, organizations of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
- authorized persons determined by the Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
- Together with the jubilee medal, the awarded person is awarded a certificate of the established form.
- Presentation of the jubilee medal is made in a festive atmosphere to the awarded person in person. Before delivery, the order of the Chairman of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan on awarding is announced.
- A jubilee medal is worn on the left side of the chest. In the presence of state awards of the Republic of Kazakhstan, an anniversary medal is located after them.
- A corresponding entry is made on the presentation of the anniversary medal in the list for awarding.
- Lists for awarding, as well as untwisted anniversary medals and certificates for them shall be returned to the personnel department of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the reasons for the return in the lists for awarding.
- The accounting of the awards made, as well as the reporting on the delivery of anniversary medals, is carried out by the Human Resources Division of the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Description
The jubilee medal “Tegege 20 zhil” (hereinafter - the jubilee medal) consists of two parts - pads and pendants. The jubilee medal has the shape of an irregular square with a circumscribed circle diameter of 34 mm.
On the front side of the jubilee medal in the central part there is the number “20” with a relief image on it of the rays of the sun and a soaring eagle, in the upper part of the jubilee medal there is the inscription “tegege”, in the bottom - “zhil”, the national ornament is depicted on the left and right.
The reverse of the medal is frosted, the protruding logo of the Kazakhstan Mint in the lower part.
The anniversary medal is made of nickel silver alloy.
The jubilee medal is connected with an eyelet and a ring to a block 32 mm wide and 50 mm high, covered with a dark green moire ribbon. In the middle of the block is an overlay in the form of a vertical embossed laurel branch made of nickel silver 8 mm wide.
The anniversary medal is attached to clothes with the help of a pin with a visor lock.
The medal was made at the Kazakhstan Mint in Ust-Kamenogorsk .
