Compliance

Comparative protototose reconstructions have been proposed by Brown and others (2011) for simple consonants and vowels. The consonant inventory for protototosoke is similar to that reconstructed for the protototonak language (Arana Osnaya 1953), and the vowels are not unlike proto-myhe-soke (C. Wichmann 1995). Parallel dialing is laryngalized, but otherwise identical to the vowel protototosoke was reconstructed for protototosoke to take into account the distribution of laryngalized consonants in the Totonak branch of the Totonak family, however, they did not have any known features in proto-mix juice (C. Wiehmann 1995) and may be a more economical justification. Vowel longitude is also an independent parameter reconstructed for protototosoke, which does not seem to affect compliance, but in this case it is a feature of inheritance by both language families.

Vowels

Protototose vowels (PTS) have been reconstructed with the characteristics of seven vowels, all of which are found with longitude, laryngealization, and long laryngealization homology. They are reduced to a system of three vowels in the Protototonak language (PT); longitude and laryngization are preserved. In proto-mix-juice (PMS), laryngealization is lost and neutralized ** ɨ ~ ə and ** ɔ ~ o.

Consonants

Of the three consonants that are not one of the two subsidiaries, which ** ty and ** ny testify poorly to, while ** ky is reliable. Proto-myhe-juice loses the lateral and guttural consonants, and neutralizes the alveolar-palato-alveolar difference. Protototonak language loses the laryngeal bow and ** y.
