General Information
The settlement is located 10 km north-east along the road from the village of Chupa , on the shore of a forest lake, east of Upper Puulongskoye Lake.
Hetolambina Deposit
Since 1922, mining of muscovite mica , potash feldspar-microcline and quartz was carried out in the vicinity of the village for the needs of enterprises producing glass, earthenware and electrically insulating materials. In 1927, the settlement was included in the Chupinsky Mine Administration. In the 1970-1980s, the Ketolambinsky mine was the largest source of muscovite mica in the USSR [2] .
