Salazar, Alberto

Albert Salazar is an American athlete who specialized in a marathon. Silver medalist at the 1982 World Cross-Country Championship. Took 17th place in the 10,000 meter race at the 1983 World Cup. At the 1984 Olympics, he took 15th place with a result of 2: 14.19. Champion of the United States 1981 and 1983 in the 10,000 meter race, as well as the 1978 United States Cross Champion. In 1994, he won The Comrades super marathon.
