BT Tsyganov (project 2) - a project of the Soviet light tank developed in 1934 under the leadership of N. F. Tsyganov in order to improve the speed characteristics of BT tanks . The project was supposed to redesign the chassis of the BT tank.

Design
Mover
The chassis consisted of seven rubberized road wheels. In total, there were 30 rollers with a rear drive wheel and a front rail on one side. This type of engine allowed to reach speeds of up to 105 km / h.
Crew
Three people: commander, driver and loader. The commander and loader were located in the tower, and the driver was in the front of the hull.

Project History
After considering the project in 1935, K. Ye. Voroshilov ordered the construction of three tanks of this type, but because of the complexity and laboriousness in the production of the Project 2 chassis, the project was not implemented.
