Geography
The commune is located approximately 390 km west of Paris , 110 km northwest of Rennes , 15 km west of Saint-Brieux , 3 km from the N12 national highway [1] .

Since 1995, the post of mayor of Pelo has been held by the socialist Patrick Lopin. In the 2014 municipal elections, the Socialist bloc headed by him won in the 1st round, receiving 60.09% of the vote.
