Geographical position
The village is located on the Central Russian Upland , in the central part of the Lipetsk Region, in the northern part of the Zadonsky District, east of the Don River . The distance to the district center (the city of Zadonsk ) is 35 km. The absolute height is 173 meters above sea level [2] . The nearest settlements are the village of Trostyanoye , the village of Rogachevka , the village of Kuymany , the village of Ivovo , the village of Spasskoye-Chirikovo , the village of Obedishche , the village of Faustovo , the village of Gagarino . To the south of the village lies the section of the Lipetsk – Yelets railway line of the Southeast Railway .
