Mosarovski, Sandra

Sandra Mosarovsky was born on October 17, 1958 in Tangier (Morocco) in the family of Russian diplomat and engineer Boris Mozarovsky and Spaniard Maria del Rosario Ruiz de Frias. A few years later, the family moved to Madrid, where Sandra studied at the Anglo-Spanish Lyceum. She made her film debut at the age of 10 in the film Pedro Lasagi “Another Tree of Guernica”. During her short life, she managed to star in more than 20 films and television series.

At about 4 a.m. on August 23, 1977, Sandra fell out of the balcony of her apartment on the fifth floor of a house on Alvarez de Baena Street in Madrid and died from a head injury 22 days later, on September 14, at the age of 18. The death of Mosarovski was officially recognized as suicide, however, some news reported that she was watering flowers. The sudden death of the actress provoked numerous rumors that Sandra was allegedly the mistress of King Juan Carlos I , and that she was engaged in an escort ^[2] . She was buried in the Madrid cemetery of the Holy Guardian Angel.
